“Youth Café” is one of our leading youth-oriented programs, which is a platform for dialogue between Arab youth, dealing with their social, intellectual and cultural cases.
The Arab Thought Foundation has embarked on the organization of the so-called “Youth Café”, in order to enable young Arabs to play their necessary role in improving their future, and their involvement in the important regional issues, as well as to raise their level of awareness about the culture of responsibility and participation.
To involve the largest possible number of Arab youth, from across the Arab world, in a frank and audacious dialogue, with the leaders of Arab thinkers and decision makers, drawing on the pattern of the “World Café” in order to discuss vital topics contributing to the development of the educational basis.
The first Youth Café was held on November 13th, 2008, during the conference of Fikr 7, and the second Youth Café on October 1st, 2009, during the conference of Fikr 8.
