He is of Saudi nationality. He holds a PhD in International Relations from Georgetown University, in Washington DC, in the United States of America. He serves as CEO of the Trading and Industrial Company SKAB. He works as a lecturer at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, and has scientific and professional memberships in a number of associations.
